Netflix released the first trailer for the 7th season of Black Mirror this past Thursday (13), revealing that it will bring a sequel to an episode from the fourth season.
This isn’t the first time the show hints that some episodes take place in the same universe, with the episode Black Museum referencing several other episodes of Black Mirror.
Now, the series will bring back actress Cristin Milioti, star of the iconic episode from season four, USS Callister, a Star Trek parody that is beloved by fans.

“Fans of the show will recognize the cast of a certain spaceship from one of our episodes reappearing,” said Charlie Brooker, creator of the show, about the cast of season 7, which premieres on April 10.
“We’ve made a sequel for the first time in the history of Black Mirror. Normally, I kill off all the characters at the end of an episode, but this time I kept some of them alive. I’m growing as a human,” he joked.
